The food is always hot and delicious! Great food at reasonable prices!

This is a review written by a vegetarian. This is a difficult restaurant to eat vegetarian at. There is lard in the refried beans, so ask for whole beans. I had huevos rancheros sabe they were tasty. I liked that they were served with soft tortillas. I asked for a side of salsa and really enjoyed them. I did not enjoy the Spanish rice. I tried it and sounded if it is vegetarian, but since I had already asked about the beans I didn't bother them and just avoided it. I also liked that they offer a nice variety of drinks.

The bacon wrapped shrimp was not good. Couldn't taste the shrimp and way to much cheddar cheese.

My father and I eat there every chance we get. Absolutely love their food. Their customer service is always first rate. He gets the pork burrito and I get the fish burrito. And they knock it out of the park everytime. They also do a fajita dish that is so amazing. Brought sizzling hot to your table. It is to die for. I'm talking last meal on death row good. Love Don Juan's.

Food bland. Service is lacking,too high of price for quality of food and no ambience to speak of.

This one takes the prize for slow service and server paying no attention to you. The food was covered in cheese and my chili relleno was the worst I ever had. 1hr and 25 minutes there ate in 15 minutes the rest of the time was spend waiting to order, waiting on drinks and waiting for bill and to box for my wife.

I love the food, prices are okay too... We come here alot - the service has gotten better than it used to be, but is still slow sometimes. I love this restaurant though, it's employees are wonderful and welcoming - always treat us like family & really enjoy the chips and salsa & relaxing atmosphere after work or for a simple date night.PREVIOUS POST: love the food & pricesthe service, not so much. We have been coming here for years off and on & this is why : we come in at 5ish, there's a large party starting in the back but NO one else in the front of the restaurant... It took over 10 min to get our order taken for drinks! Are you serious?! We were getting up to leave at that point. But again, as always, the food was 5 star and that's why we keep going back.

Every time we come in great food and Fantastic, excellent service. Our waiter was super awesome! My wife ordered a blended margarita, it was great, and my little girl wanted to try the margarita but of course couldn't. So the server made our little girl a banana smoothie free of charge.4 stars because the food/drinks are a little expensive but filling.

Sad to say that my kids and I used to come here weekly when I lived in Oregon. Now it is just not the same. Food was not very fresh and the taste was barely acceptable. So sad as this place has a lot of fond memories

Absolutely disgusting. And WAY too expensive!! Who in their right mind, thinks that spinach, mushrooms, and zucchini belong in a burrito??? Just because someone is vegetarian does not mean they want some weird version of a burrito! I specifically asked for just a bean, rice, and cheese burrito. You know what I got? A BURRITO WITH MUSHROOMS, SPINACH, AND ZUCCHINI!! Um hello?!?!! Horrible. Absolutely bewildered. Do not go here.

Don Juan is my favorite Mexican food in Eugene! The cheese enchiladas and their sauce are delicious! The Mexican rice is simply the best! And I love their homemade salsa! It has just the right heat and a wonderful flavor! They're strawberry margaritas are pretty good, too!

Excellent choices and great combinations. My granddaughter loved the orchada. Service was super with many check in visit by the waiter, and the decor was southwestern. Had a fun lunch and plan to return.

You never serve a hard taco in a pre-packaged shell, it gets SOGGY. The best way to serve crispy tacos are deep fried in the restaurant.

Worst customer service ever. Waited for over 1 and half hour for food. Had to ask for more drinks and chips and salsa. Asked for discount on drinks. Never got food. Tried to give us someone else's

Ooof-dah! I had never been there before...and I guess I now know why.The food was all tasteless. The best thing on my plate was the rice. The beans were bland and I had to add salt. The chicken chimi was filled with JUST CHICKEN. No onions or peppers or or or anything to give it flavor. The ground beef on the tostada was cold and slimy. Granted, I was part of a large party, but the place is HUGE and it was NOT BUSY. There is just no excuse for cold food in a restaurant.
